Within the scope of the public event "Research Conference on Subjective Probability, Utility and Decision Making" of August 25th up to August 27th 2003 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich, briefly SPUDM 19, Prof J. Steurer and the Horten Centre preside over three main topics for medical problem solution. It is concerning the question how decisions in medicine can be achieved today and how much information and of which kind are needed to make a profound decision.
